Camping Village
Assisi is immersed in the green nature of Umbria and has a wonderful
view of the city. From the basilica of San Francesco to the majesty of
Rocca Maggiore the tourist can admire the colours of the sandstone in
its different shades of white and pink. Art, religion, nature and
history meet in Assisi, the peace capital of the world, which UNESCO has
declared patrimony of the humanity. The camping is easily reachable;
located only 2 km from the railway station and close to the road which
connects the lowland with the hill. It disposes of large and shady
campingsites, bungalows with kitchen, fully equipped mobile homes and
large tents with beds. Camping Internazionale Assisi also has a small
and comfortable hotel, Hotel Green, with 9 rooms.
