Special Camper

We have one children’s swimming pool with a slide and one large  pool with water massage. You can relax on a deckchair or on a sun bed around the pools. If you feel like having a snack or something to drink there is a bar at your service.

A shuttle bus will bring you directly to the city centre 3 times a day.

Far away from cars, surrounded by hedges, we have a playground  with a volleyball court, a football field, a tennis court, table-tennis and boccia. Not far from the camping, along the river Tescio, you’ll find a walking route about 10 kilometres long where you can go jogging or bike riding. The camping rents out bicycles for adults and children.

Restaurant

The impressive wall of St. Francis Basilica is the background of our restaurant, recall the austerity of a food low of the past, but for the customer who sits at Restaurant Pizzeria Camping there will be surprises!
The products of the area speak for themselves ... coming from a centuries-old traditional farmer culture between the hills and villages of our Umbria.
The extra virgin olive oil by taste, Norcia’s ham and salami, cheese of our pastures, all generously fruity, absolutely made to be accompanied by our particularly bread (without salt) and the famous “torta al testo”.
The Colfiorito’s tiny lentils and red potatoes from generations give a unique taste sensations, the fagiolina of Trasimeno, the sweet pea of Bettona and Trebbiano Spoletino recently rediscovered cultivars are able to fascinate even the most critical of wine and food.
The menu offers a wide choice of traditional dishes and new creations prepared by chef Walter and Alessio, experienced and very attentive to customer needs, able to get round any problems of intolerance and food available to build with you the menus of your ceremony.
We have a menu for children designed to facilitate the selection; Serve over seventy pizzas, including classic and not, worked with care and professionalism by Fabio, a master pizza maker who, after the experience in the Italian Pizzaioli and contests in acrobatic pizza has decided to join our group!
Our first pizza reaches perfect maturity very slowly, for three days in fact rests in the appropriate cells thus ensuring the highest digestibility, cooking in a wood burning oven and excellent raw materials complete the work.
The cellar boasts more than eighty of the best labels Italian wine with a special emphasis on the fact that Umbrian wine in the last ten years has been growing considerably.
We also offer an exceptional selection of Belgian beers in bottles of 0,75 cl that you can combine dishes to more or less following the recommendations developed by Rita and Annarita, our trained waiter who will receive you with courtesy and kindness to us for years.
Upon arrival at the end you will meet the emblem of the restaurant: Pino, the chef and restaurant owner for decades will prepare your check with no surprises!
We have two dining-rooms for the winter and a gazebo for the summer, with a total availability of about 500 people, including a meeting room for about 100 people.

BAR OSTERIA CAVATAPPI

In the green heart of Umbria, in the panoramic setting of Assisi, in the Camping Village Assisi we expect you to spend pleasant days, from breakfast pastries to Umbrian dishes, a wide range of sandwiches, our typical “Torta al testo” and fresh salads. Starting from 18:00 organize tastings of local products where players are the oil and wine of our beautiful hills, which will lead you to discover the harmonious flavours of the land. The evenings begin with colourful and imaginative cocktails, long drinks and delicious ice creams with excellent music .... Our structure also provides a typical mini-market where you can also find a range of Umbrian products: oil, wine, salami, cheese, truffles ..., gift packaging, internet point, game room, tobacco and newspapers.
